  • What can I migrate from Help Scout?

    Conversations and threads (with original author and timestamp), customers, companies as accounts, tags and core custom fields. Mailboxes map to Tixallo teams. Anything custom can come in via CSV.

  • What does NOT auto-migrate from Help Scout?

    Workflows, Docs (knowledge-base) site theming, Beacon chat transcripts (use the Tixallo widget going forward, or CSV-import history), and saved replies. Saved replies are quick to recreate as Tixallo macros — most teams find 5–10 covers the bulk of their volume.

  • Will Beacon (chat) move over too?

    The importer focuses on Help Scout conversation data. To replace Beacon, install the Tixallo chat widget — historical chat transcripts can come in via CSV if needed.

  • Does it preserve note vs reply?

    Yes. Internal notes are imported as internal notes and customer replies stay as customer messages.

  • Can I run both side-by-side?

    Yes — keep Help Scout live, import in the background, and only flip your forwarding when you're ready.

  • How long does Help Scout migration take?

    Most small teams cut over in a few days. The import runs in the background; the slow part is usually rebuilding workflows and saved replies. For larger accounts plan a longer parallel-run window.
